Terms of Service

By using WiseCook ("the app", "the service"), you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Service description

WiseCook is an application that turns recipe videos and web pages into structured recipes for cooking. The service may include:

Automatic recipe extraction from URLs (videos and web pages)
Step-by-step cook mode with timers
Shopping list with ingredient consolidation
Recipe organization in collections
Recipe enhancement and adaptation using AI

2. User account

You can use basic features without an account (with usage limits)
To save recipes and sync data across devices, you can create an account via Apple Sign‑In or Google Sign‑In
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Delete account

3. Acceptable use

By using WiseCook, you agree to:

Use the app only for personal, non-commercial purposes
Not attempt to circumvent service limits
Not use the app to extract content in a massive or automated way
Not reverse engineer or modify the app
Not use the app in a way that could damage, disable or overload the service

4. Third-party content

WiseCook processes recipes from external sources (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, blogs, etc.). Regarding this content:

WiseCook does not own the original recipe content
Recipes are processed for the user's personal use
A link to the original source is included when possible
If you are a content creator and wish your content not to be processed, contact us
WiseCook does not guarantee the accuracy of extracted recipes — AI processing may contain errors

5. Plans, limits and subscriptions

WiseCook may offer different plans (for example: free, trial, and Pro). Features and limits may vary by country, by platform (iOS), and over time.

Free plan: includes limits on extractions and/or collections.
Free trial (if available): typically lasts 7 days and may include an extraction limit during the trial.
Pro: unlimited recipe extractions and collections, subject to reasonable use ("fair use").

Fair use: Pro is intended for personal use. Massive, automated, or commercial extraction is not allowed. We may apply measures to protect the service (for example, temporary limits, throttling, feature restrictions, or account suspension) in case of abnormal or abusive activity.

Subscriptions (iOS): subscriptions are managed through the App Store. They renew automatically unless canceled. You can manage or cancel them in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Prices may change; changes typically apply at the next renewal in accordance with App Store rules. Refunds and billing disputes are handled by Apple unless applicable law states otherwise.

Auto-renewal details: payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

6. AI processing

WiseCook uses artificial intelligence to process recipes. This means:

AI may make errors in quantities, ingredients, or instructions
Always verify ingredients and quantities, especially if you have food allergies
WiseCook is not responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from following an AI-processed recipe
Dietary labels (gluten-free, vegan, etc.) are estimates and should not replace reading product labels

7. Intellectual property

WiseCook (the app, design, code) is the property of Daniel Álvaro Paradela Delgado
Recipes you save are for your personal use
Do not mass redistribute recipes extracted with WiseCook

8. Service availability

WiseCook is provided "as is" without availability guarantees
We may interrupt the service temporarily or permanently for maintenance or for any reason
We are not responsible for losses resulting from service interruption
We recommend also saving your important recipes outside the app

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

WiseCook is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim
We are not responsible for allergies, food poisoning, or other problems resulting from following recipes processed by the app

10. Modifications

We may modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via a notification in the app. Continued use of WiseCook after changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Cancellation

You can stop using WiseCook at any time
You can delete your account and all your data from the app
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Madrid, Spain.
